Bringing A Strong Message Of Sustainability To Packaging Innovations 2025

S Murray & Co was delighted to exhibit at Packaging Innovations once again this year. Held at the NEC, Birmingham, over two days from the 12th to 13th February, with almost 7,000 visitors overall, the show provided a wonderful platform to showcase not only the recent investment in the company’s new tool-making equipment, but also to raise awareness of the company’s sustainable material options for the future.

Partnering with Prevented Ocean Plastic™ (POP) and I’m green™ bio-based sugar cane-derived polythene, S Murray & Co was excited to share these new recycled and carbon-targeting materials respectively with both potential and existing customers alike, in an effort to raise awareness of the new and more sustainable material options available today.

Coupled with the company’s investment in new tool-making machinery last year, these options enable the company to help bring new projects to life, from conception, to production and beyond, all with sustainability in mind.

The show also provided an opportunity to understand a little more regarding the upcoming developments in the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) for Packaging and the tax implications associated with this, which we hope to be able to share once further details are known.

We are appreciative of all those who took the time to come and visit us at our stand and look forward to developing those relationships for the future.
