In May 2013, S Murray Sales Director, Tristan Murray, was honoured to be invited to the wedding of the sons of the company’s surgical distributor in Malaysia. The wedding marked the start of a wider trip to the region, which also included market visits to Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

S Murray has enjoyed a very close relationship with Darul Medik SDN BHD in Malaysia for many years and was delighted to have been a part of such a special day when the company’s two sons, Hafiszidasz and Nizam celebrated their marriages to Erliana and Iyliana on 12th May 2013 at the Bukit Kemuning Golf and Country Resort, Shah Alam. “It was a very special event to be a part of” recalls Tristan “and I was proud and honoured to have been a part of such a wonderful day”. All at S Murray wish both couple every happiness as they start their married lives together – Selamat pengartin baru!

Following Malaysia, the trip to Sri Lanka represented the reinforcement of an even longer-standing relationship, this time with the company’s surgical distributor Mackwoods Ltd. S Murray is delighted to have such a well-regarded partner in the marketplace and looks forward to building on a partnership which now spans over three decades.

The trip to Pakistan helped towards a much more recent partnership for the company, which has focussed initially on the key manufactured product range of SAMCO laboratory glassware. Responding to specific areas and products of interest to date, the visit helped identify wider opportunities for the company’s laboratory range as both parties look forward to developing these exciting new opportunities together.
